# Token Issuance

Only approved ZARP Partners are able to issue (mint) new ZARP tokens. Partners are provided with a unique reference number for bank transfers, and must provide blockchain wallets addresses that are whitelisted with our systems to be issued with ZARP tokens. When a Partner sends fiat to the ZARP bank account, their reference number is identified and a corresponding number of ZARP tokens is then issued (created) directly to the Partner’s wallet address. Bank transfers for token issuance must be made from a bank account held in the name of the Partner institution and any funds sent from third party bank accounts will automatically be returned. ZARP Stablecoin does not offer custody of Partner tokens.
